Leaving a review on Venzer helps build trust across the construction industry. Your feedback supports other customers in making informed decisions and helps vendors improve their services.

This guide walks you through how to leave a review and how to write a high-quality, professional review.

How to Leave a Review

Step 1: Log Into Your Account

  • Log into your Venzer account from the upper right corner of the landing page.
  • If you’re new to Venzer, sign up by clicking “Join as Customer.”

Step 2: Find the Vendor Profile

  • Locate the vendor you’d like to review by:
  • Searching through the Venzer search engine on the landing page, or
  • Opening the vendor profile from one of your saved project boards
  • Once on the vendor’s profile page, scroll to the bottom of the page (below the image portfolio) and click “Leave review.”

Step 3: Complete the Project Details Form

Fill out the initial form to the best of your ability. You’ll be asked to describe:

  • The project
  • Cost range
  • Length of the project
  • Click “Next” to proceed to the review section.

Step 4: Write Your Review

In the review section, you’ll be asked several questions about:

  • Scope of work
  • Project decision-making factors
  • Product costs
  • Overall experience

This section is especially important. Customers reading reviews rely on detailed insights to evaluate vendors.

If English is not your first language, you’re welcome to reach out to a Venzer customer service representative for help with content editing.

Step 5: Rate the Vendor

In the rating section, you’ll evaluate your experience with the vendor, including:

  • Collaboration
  • Quality of service
  • References

Select the appropriate star rating:

⭐ 1 star = Bad

⭐⭐⭐ 3 stars = Good

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 stars = Excellent

We strongly encourage adding detailed comments for each question to give your rating helpful context.

Step 6: Enter Reviewer Information

Fill out your company information in the reviewer section.

Your contact details are required for verification purposes only. Venzer does not publish or share this information with third parties.

Step 7: Review and Submit

Before submitting:

  • Re-read your review for accuracy and clarity
  • Consider asking a colleague to proofread your review
  • When you’re ready, click “Submit.”

After submission, you can revisit the vendor’s profile page to preview your review. All reviews appear alongside other customer feedback on the vendor profile.

How to Write a Good Review

High-quality reviews help everyone on the platform. Keep these best practices in mind:

Be Honest and Genuine

Provide an accurate reflection of your experience. Avoid exaggeration or falsification.

Stay Relevant

Focus on the vendor’s products or services. Avoid unrelated topics or personal opinions that don’t apply to the work.

Provide Constructive Feedback

Share specific feedback that highlights strengths and identifies areas for improvement. This helps vendors grow and informs future customers.

Be Objective

Even if your experience was strongly positive or negative, include reasoning and context to support your evaluation.

Be Courteous and Professional

Maintain a respectful tone at all times. Avoid offensive language, hate speech, or personal attacks.

Check Grammar and Clarity

Take time to review your writing. You may copy and paste your text into tools like Word or ChatGPT to help with grammar or clarity.
